Nelle Laurent, a British-Belgian artist, is currently pursuing her MA in photography at the Royal College of Art after having completed her BA at the Glasgow School of Art.

Her practice primarily revolves around a hands-on approach to analogue photography. Memory and the passage of time are the main themes reflected in her projects as she plays on their intrinsic relation to the medium of photography. Installation, video, and sound are also increasingly present in her practice as she seeks more interactive ways of engaging with her audience. Her work can be described as sequences of passive observations and visual notetaking, ranging on matters as banal as our daily rhythms and human exchanges, to the more personal and complex subjects of belonging and anxiety.
